In a scene that didn’t make it into the film, Frankie remembers the town of Middlebury from her childhood and describes the first automobiles, including her family’s Ford Model T.

In another outtake, Frankie talks about how cold it was inside her family’s farmhouse in winter. Also the house had no electricity and only a shared telephone line.
